The Vision
The design direction leans heavily into mid-century desert aesthetics and the worn patina of "found" records. I focused on four distinct creative iterations to explore different facets of their identity.
The Strategy
Combine strong editorial photography with sharp, engaging writing that treats tennis as both sport and culture. The design draws from classic magazine layouts with modern sensibility, using careful typography hierarchy, dynamic photo compositions, and deliberate negative space to create a reading experience that feels both premium and accessible to a design-savvy audience.
The Result
A cohesive visual language that feels both timeless and contemporary. Through deliberate color curation and vintage aging techniques, the final designs transform a standard release into a nostalgic artifact that captures the soulful, cinematic essence of the music.
